The reason I offer FREE SEO advice is because I so often see the online success of perfectly good businesses compromised due to a lack of planning or forethought regarding Internet Marketing and SEO in the early stages of business development. I’m compelled to help you avoid some pain.
Its painful to tell entrepreneurs that all that really precious time and money they invested must be scrapped and a new (online property) built in order to reach their audience – or that the online audience they thought would buy their product, just does not exit in quantities large enough to support the business plan. In the latter case, Its painful and seemingly unethical to take their money in return for “advice of failure certain”.
I know the one thing all entrepreneurs dread to hear is “the way you built this won’t work, you need a new design”. To throw prototype V1.3 away is just not an option. (que Thomas Edison story to anesthetize ones self). I know the money used to build it was hard to get, and it meant a fuse was lit, time is short and that much of the design and development is paid for in sweat – late nights – no sleep – no life. But a little awareness can make such a huge difference to the online success of a seed-stage business that I want to help you get off the ground with a fighting chance of success. 1) Your business must be brand-spanking-new or a start-up: I don’t care if its a new dentist office or a technology start-up in Silicon Valley – it just has to be verifiably new.
2) This is my contribution to other entrepreneurs with limited resources, not a hand-out to VCs or Angels who have too much already: If you have gotten some angel investment already, I will need to know more detail, sell me on why I should provide free SEO to your venture. But if you have plenty of cash in the account, don’t ask (for free seo). If you have already secured venture capital, don’t ask for something free.
